This is primarily a maintenance release, getting the code updated in a few places, and making large structural changes that mean easier development and maintenance in the future.</p>
<p data-sourcepos="3:1-3:389" dir="auto">Outwardly <code data-sourcepos="3:12-3:18">ratmand</code> changes its configuration to the <a data-sourcepos="3:54-3:75" href="https://kdl.dev" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">kdl</a> format. If you already have a configuration you will need to update it. There is now also the <code data-sourcepos="3:174-3:189">ratmand generate</code> command, which will pre-generate a configuration. The new and old file names for the configs are different, so you can pre-generate a new config, and then port over your settings to the new format.</p>
<p data-sourcepos="5:1-5:297" dir="auto">Also, the data store directory has had some breaking changes in its format. You will have to wipe your existing addresses before using ratmand again. Sorry! Probably we will only have one more release where this is the case, before having a migration utility to persist things between versions.</p>
<p data-sourcepos="7:1-7:312" dir="auto">Apart from that, check the <a data-sourcepos="7:28-7:130" href="https://git.irde.st/we/irdest/-/blob/6657b97865feffc03bf46fe8038fb4e41fb10437/CHANGELOG.md">changelog</a> to see everything that changed. Some features from last year's NLnet grant made it in as well (for example LoRa support, WiFi P2P support via NetworkManager, and some other stuff).</p>
