Use Kotlin DSLs instead Groovy Scripts

Groovy scripts in application codebase, build.gradle files to be precise.

Proposed Enhancements

Usage of user-friendly Kotlin DSLs, that make the code readable and more understandable to the user. Also this is a step towards modernizing the application codebase, as a part of summer of '21.
